I miss Marcus Westcliff and Sebastian St. I think I'd also gotten used to reading about previously established characters since I read Sinful Wallflowers by SR and then Wallflowers by LK and now reading stand alones which aren't immediately gripping is tough. Right now, I just want a fun novel I can't put down for the next 10 hours. I don't mind reading the intense novels during the week since I do them in bits at night. I'm looking for a gripping weekend read which is all good feel with no torture or angst. She first meets Keir when he storms into her office after an accident involving a shipment of his whisky, and the attraction between the two is instantaneous. Since then I've started and abandoned 3 books namely, "When The Earl Met His Match" and Wicked In His Arms by Stacy Reid and Do You Want To Start A Scandal by Tessa Dare. She takes a very hands-on role in the business, and the welfare of her workers is paramount to her. ![]() I am not in the mood rn to read an angsty novel filled with torture and heartbreak at the start. I started Again the Magic, and while it started high, I just didn't feel into it. I read each of the books in the series in single sittings. And I was looking forward to reading another book over Sat-Sun. I finished Book 4 of the Wallflowers by Lisa Kleypas yesterday. ![]()
